Chinese New Year Gala 2018 in aid of COPE Galway and Western Alzheimer

This year, 2018, is the Year of the Dog, and the Irish Chinese Society Galway will be hosting the Chinese New Year Gala 2018 in aid of COPE Galway and Western Alzheimer. Join us for the celebration on Sunday 18th February from 2pm to 5pm at Clybaun Hotel, Knocknacara, Galway.

The Chinese New Year Gala will be focused on performances by University College Cork‘s Confucius Institute. Performances including Chinese dancing and Qigong demonstration. Multi-award winning world fiddle player Brendan Larrissey will also perform with Irish dancers. Featuring the traditional dragon & lion dance, martial arts, Chinese folk dance, singing from the local school choir and more.

The event is a free family-friendly and we welcome donations for COPE Galway and Western Alzheimers.
